Today Long Island, and much of the northeast, is getting hit with a big snowstorm so I thought it would be the perfect day to share this snowy maternity session I did a few weeks ago. I’ve shot at this location many times but to see with a fresh covering of white snow it was like seeing it for the first time and it took my breath away. I’ve never been the type to enjoy actually playing out in the cold snow, I’d rather be cozy inside, but damn is it pretty to look at.
Maternity photo shoots are so exciting, I get to capture this fleeting moment where the soon to be parent is in between two chapters of their life. Everything is about to change. During pregnancy it feels like you’ll be pregnant forever but once baby arrives, it feels like it went by in the blink of an eye.
